Mitis is a product developed and operated by Neosolus, a company registered in France. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our mobile application (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) and website.

• Account Information: Your email address and authentication credentials via our secure authentication provider (Supabase).
• Profile Information: Username and optional profile details you choose to provide.
• User Content: Moods you share, reactions you send, and circle invitations you create or accept.
• Location Data: If you grant permission, we collect your coarse location (city/country level only) to display local mood trends. We do not store precise GPS coordinates.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and optimization.
• Usage Data: Anonymous usage statistics to improve the app experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Mitis service.
• Display your mood to users in your circles or the public feed (anonymously or with username based on your privacy settings).
• Facilitate social interactions like reactions, support gestures, and circle invitations.
• Send you important service updates and notifications (with your consent for marketing communications).
• Enforce our Terms of Service and community guidelines.
• Analyze app performance and user experience to make improvements.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Supabase), analytics, and infrastructure providers that help us operate the app. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, and property.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections.

5. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, when transferring data internationally.

6. User Generated Content & Moderation

Mitis allows users to share moods and reactions. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content or abusive behavior.

We provide blocking and reporting features. Users found violating our community guidelines may have their content removed and accounts suspended or terminated.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can delete your account at any time within the app settings. Upon deletion:

• Your personal data will be removed from our active databases within 30 days.
• Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days.
• Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

8. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
